Picture perfect :-)

It has been a very exciting couple of weeks. I just finished my first week of teaching and my engagement pictures finally came in! We had a chance to see the proofs, but it's so much more exciting to have the real deal!
The first week of teaching was quite an adventure. I immediately fell in love with all of my students and feel like I am the luckiest woman in the world to have this job. I actually want to go to work in the morning. 5:45 hits and I'm out of bed. And... let's just say I'm not a morning person. I think of these ideas for lessons and get so excited about them! I also found this great first grade blog for centers/teaching ideas! You can check her blog out here! The best part is when I'm teaching a lesson and I end it. The students have been groaning because they don't want it to end! YES! I have to admit, it was nice to sleep in this weekend. I can't remember the last time I was so exhausted.
In other news, I just received my enagagement pictures! Best week ever? I think so. They came out amazing! Here are a few of my absolute favorites:
